German cooking in the house! And, "Feiern" German-style!
One day only, we feature a special Oktober Fest menu, inspired by our culinary excursions in Germany and Switzerland earlier this year. There will be Bratwurst with Sauerkraut and Bratkartoffeln; Eisbein (Pig's hock) on Sauerkraut; Sauerbraten with Semmelknödel; Jagerschnitzel or Schnitzel "Wiener Art" mit Pommes (with fries), Currywurst, Eintopf (hearty vegetable stew); Beilagen salad (side salad) and more! Here is the menu.
You can come as you are. Take note: there will be a special prize for everyone who shows up in traditional Lederhosen or Dirndle (yes, it's mostly a Bavarian thing). Plus there'll be special recognition for anyone who can perform a credible "Schuhplattler" by the end of the night!
Live music from 6 to 11 pm by Rick Sward; communal seating; "Schunkeln" encouraged.
