About the event
We're hosting a new free community event that we're calling "The Salon: The Art of Conversation". The brain child of Arlin McFarlane, each Salon will have a different host. This first iteration will run 4 Fridays in May. Come to one, or come to all, it's up to you.

HOW IT WORKS
Conversation topics will be set by the participants each week but with a random fun twist: Everyone will contribute a word and put it in a box. The host will draw three words that will form the centre of the conversation for The Salon. Then we will connect the most unlikely conversation dots and make interesting, surprising, titillating, provocative, easy, fun (whatever your flavour) conversation. We will speak and we will listen; we may expand a notion or expound on it.

(You can order anything you want off the day's menu or stay on for dinner, but you don't need to. Antoinette's Lounge is simply a comfortable space provided by Antoinette GreenOliph. )
